Who we are

Pelican Studios was founded in 2002 as a design and fabrication practice working at the intersection of art, technology, and making. We believe good design should be ethical, regenerative where possible, and socially and environmentally responsible - an approach reflected in projects such as the Mira Solar Powered Kinetic Flower and the Grassland Earless Dragon Survey Kit.

Our team is made up of skilled specialists who bridge product design, advanced manufacturing, geometry rationalisation, architectural detailing, precision machining, and hands-on metalworking. We’re as comfortable in CAD as we are on the workshop floor, translating complex ideas into things that can actually be built - and built well.
